Daniel is a Tech Lead Senior Software Engineer based in Oslo with 26 years of hands-on experience shipping software — from web and mobile to 3D, real-time rendering, automation pipelines and applied machine learning. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science focused on Artificial Intelligence and has led engineering teams across product, consulting and education. SpaceStack is where he writes about the practical decisions small teams make around software, security and automation — the parts of the job nobody trains you for.
What I write about here
SpaceStack is my editorial side project. It focuses on the parts of running a small team that are technical but not glamorous: security workflows, automation choices, identity and access, decision frameworks for picking software, and plain-English explainers of the SaaS world a small team has to understand to operate.
I do not write about things I have not used, advised on or shipped against. When an article leans on broader community research more than on my own hands-on experience, the article says so explicitly. See the methodology page for how content is produced, edited and disclosed.
